DTN IQFeed subscribers can now use QCollector For DTN IQFeed to download data for stocks, futures, options, forex and indexes. QCollector will save the data you download to files on your computer where it can then be used by other trading programs for

Key Features

• Download and save historical data for any symbol on the IQFeed servers. Any data required to bring your data files up to date since the last data collection will be downloaded and added to your data files.
• Collect intraday bars, time and sales records, or end of day data.
• Save your data in ASCII text format or in the popular MetaStock data format for compatibility with most other trading programs.
• With the click of a button, bring all data files up to date with stored history data from IQFeed.
• Create portfolios of securities to simplify file management tasks.
• Create custom symbol lists for importing into your portfolios.
• Run timed updates during the trading session to keep your data files current with the latest real-time data from IQFeed. Set the timed update frequency to run as often as every five seconds on hundreds of symbols. QCollector will take real-time streaming data, form it into data records, and update the appropriate files on every timed udpate cycle.
• Schedule tasks to have QCollector update individual portfolios, start timed udpates, or automatically bring all your data files up to date once per day.
• Export data to a file in Dial Data format. This feature allows you to create a single file which includes data from multiple securities, where each line of data is prefaced by the security's symbol. You can then import this data into applications that support this format.
• Convert single or multiple ASCII format data files to MetaStock format.
